I believe you are talking about the Al Hirschfeld lithographs, there are two, one of Jerry playing acoustic and one of him on the electric...

Very cool...logged on feeling down and out, not been here much. Just nice to see this little exchange.

Thanks.

Thanks Rob; no sweat.

Back on top now...just watched the Germans win the Gold for horse/3day/whatever they call it...not since 1936.

Hmmm...that doesn't sound right...

Was it about then they switched to Panzers? Good to see you back on form, my friend.

I was sorting through some stuff in the garage earlier and came across an old Dead tape I'd forgotten I had. It was from March 87 but I stuck it on for a listen. Found myself bopping along to a pretty good Aiko, great band/crowd interaction - and then they followed with Tons of Steel and the mood just evaporated. The 80s, huh? You sure take your chances with that era...

Good one (panzers...really; cavalry...really funny).

Oh well--the US came in second on the individual front.

Hey, I will tell you--check out the "filler" from 23
Aug 68 sometime. The tone on Jerry's guitar is something.

Thanks, JG! Improving, my friend, improving. No big deal; just a late summer funk.

I've been getting versions of Late Summer Funk all my life, I've always felt it was a transitory thing, now with kids and all it can be a pretty powerful feeling. I find that some good kickass music is a great way to get by, either that or my energetic 5 year old snaps me out of it with her antics and raging ID.

Take Heart, Tell...

Good things are happening somewhere, even if a rumble on the other side of the hill out of sight...

Glad to see that drawing again, it's been a while...
